Junior Sailing Program Kicks off The Learn to Sail course held in January is a great start to the Junior Sailing program. Eight young people and one adult successfully completed the course run by Kim Ardmore from Yachting New Zealand. The class was out on the water every day even though the weather over the 4 days was generally grey and blustery gusting to over 20 knots at times. We will continue to build on this program over the next few months by encouraging more parent / caregiver participation, and supporting the efforts of a couple of the junior members motivated to start a Sailing Club at Rutherford College.
