As can be seen by the tracks, there was some erratic progress made at times. Well done to Team Effort and Incognito for their respective Scratch and Handicap wins on a tough day. It was good to have a new sailor to the club making use of the club boat. Not so good for the regulars as he was on fire and sailed Brooke to take the gun. Rapscallion maintained the status quo by taking handicap honours. The 11 March is scheduled as a spare day and will be used to pick up the sixth and last race of the Summer Series. However, some things were consistent, Team Effort taking the gun and Family Affair taking handicap honours. Since we have only achieved 4 races in this series we are going to include the Trophy Day race on the 19 Feb as the 5th and final race of the Summer Champs. The final series result will then be the best of 4 with your worst result discarded. I won’t say that the scratch result is all but in the bag, but there is still a competition for Handicap honours.
